used the guide for an east coast based partner engineering manager interview (2 rounds so far in March) and found it to be quite useful. It does not have coding or detailed engineering questions (the author specifies that as well) but definitely helps you make a difference with managerial/product part of the interviews. Recommended.

(In short: Recommended & detailed interview guide from a google employee.) I used Alex’s guide for a google cloud-related program manager role based at the google sunnyvale office and I can’t be more happy. He gives insights to how “googler’s” answer their interview questions and lists the questions he and his friends got during the interview. This made a big difference during my interviews and I’m waiting for an offer now. Make yourself a favor and invest in this guide for a better chance at getting an offer.

found this guide from a glassdoor message. Used it for my APM interviews at Mountainv view campus & can’t be more happy! It is basically like you sit with 5 people who recently interviewed at Google and got offers. You pick their brains: see what they have been asked and how they answered to those questions. Invaluable resource, highly recommended..

Hi Alex, thanks for the documents, I think it includes lots of useful information. My suggestion is could you also include some books or articles that is good to read too?

Recommended! Similar to what other reviewers mentioned: With the help of questions & answers found in Alex’s ebook, I was able to successfully pass 2 stages of my interviews that I would otherwise not be able to pass. Easy 5 stars from me, thanks!

Short version: This is a must have for Google PM candidates. Long version: Alex’s book outlines his interview stages in detail (nearly 30 pages) and it gives the questions he has been asked. There is also a file with all the questions that he and his friends who were interviewing with Google have been asked and he provides really good answers for them. I found out this interviewjoy website last week and purchased the book before my final in-person interview. Knowing all the possible questions beforehand and studying their answers definitely made me more confident for the interview and tipped the scale in favor of me. I’m now waiting for an offer 🙂 I definitely recommend this book to all candidates interviewing for PM and similar roles at Google… Thanks Alex!!
